The traditional norms and beliefs of the gender binary restrict individuals to identify themselves within these two boxes: men and women.

With captivating insight drawn from their own experiences, Han Worsley’s talk demonstrates how embracing gender fluidity can liberate individuals from the constraints of societal expectations. By boldly challenging the status quo, Han blazes a trail towards inclusivity and acceptance, creating a world where everyone is free to express themselves in their own unique way. Their message is clear: breaking the binary is like embarking on a wild adventure as a fearless "gender grey nomad," unencumbered by the judgments of others.  Han Worsley is a passionate educator, gender equality advocate, and public speaker. Driven by their isolated upbringing in Nullamanna, NSW, Han is CEO of charity Country to Canberra, empowering rural women and non-binary students through leadership. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
