Electric Vehicle prices have been
Electric Vehicle prices have been falling. Tesla just had the most dramatic cut to the price of the Tesla Model X. Its also the time, when some very good options have come to market, from the Volvo Group and in the form of some very interesting product level options with the Rivian R1S. I present here, a 4-way, side-by-side comparison between the base trims of the Volvo EX90, Polestar 3, Tesla Model X and the Rivian R1S.
All the four are fairly comparable in terms of size, capacities, battery packs, range, and most importantly the price point (except the Polestar 3). Which is around $80,000, the cap for the US Federal Tax Credit for SUVs and Trucks.
I hope this proves useful to those looking at buying in this segment of Electric Vehicles.
