Wow! This is one of
Wow! This is one of my best air fryer recipes. These Yorkshire puddings were stellar! I've perfected this recipe after much trial and error ...and I believe I've produced Yorkshire puddings that are FAR better than anything I've ever made in the oven.
This method resulted in huge, inflated, pillows of crispiness, with just the right amount of breadiness inside for mopping up your gravy.
I think the secret is not to have too much flour, a reasonable amount of milk and to use decent sized shallow tins. The usual rules apply: the oil needs to be smoking hot before you pour the batter in, you need to work quickly, and once the drawer is closed, don't open it again until they're cooked.
They literally take 16 minutes to cook - that's half the cooking time they'd have in the oven, not to mention how long it would take your regular oven to preheat to such a high temperature!
