Getting Started with Photometry

This video demonstrates how to undertake the collection and analysis of photometric data for a variable star; in this case, V576 PEG.  Measurements are undertaken with a Celestron C8 SCT/EQ6-R/ZWO ASI533MC working with SharpCap Pro. Post-processing is done with ASTAP and AIJ, and analysis with AIJ.

This video demonstrates photometric measurement and analysis is well within the capabilities of the major of amateur astronomers.
