This is my introduction video for my Speech-Language Pathology playlist! I really hope this helps even just one person out there, so if you think you know anyone who might benefit from this, please share, and subscribe =)
In this video, I talk about my top 5 tips for getting your child talking and picking up new words faster! These are all based on best practices in scientific journals, but also from my own experience as a therapist for nearly a decade. All of these, I always explain to my clients, should be done as much as possible, whenever you are interacting with the child.
Keeping these in mind, you can expect progress in as little as 2 weeks!
I'm working on having the text resources on my blog very soon, but I'm soooo new to this and I'm still a little overwhelmed, but really excited at the same time.

Naghahanda rin ako ng mga video na Filipino, para sa mga hindi bihasa sa Ingles.
Bilang isang speech and language pathologist / therapist, ito ang madalas na ipinapayo ko sa aking mga kliyente. Paano nga ba kausapin ng mas mabuti ang mga bata para marami silang mapupulot na bagong mga salita?
Kung sanayin ito sa lahat ng pagkakataon, ang inaasahan ay mas maraming tunog o salitang masasabi ang inyong anak (mula 5-buwan hanggang 7-taong gulang!)
Note: This is not equivalent to receiving personal speech-language consultations and therapy. Always refer to your (developmental) pediatrician for any concerns. This is meant to supplement what your therapists recommend, and/or provide new information for parents who are open to new ideas to try with their children.
For those who need to be quiet while watching this, you can turn on the captions. (I know how it can be for those with sleeping babies!)
