Tecno Spark 10 Pro Review: I wasn't Expecting This!

Tecno Spark 10 pro Review after 7 Months

This is the Tecno Spark 10 pro and it's about 7 months since this phone was released. I've been using it for about a week now and I think I'm impressed. I like how these budget smartphones are competing with their flagships counterparts we now have good Tecno phones to buy

Specs:
The Tecno Spark 10 pro has a:
Mediatek helio g88 processor
90 hz refresh rate
And a 5000 mAh ba3

Let's look around it and see what we can find
-At the top there's nothing
-At the right you find the power buttons
-Left, the sim card tray
-Bottom 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB c port microphone and speaker

I love the appearance of the phone and build quality
Oh and I forgot that the power button acts as fingerprint scanner. It's actually fast. At least Faster than all Google pixel fingerprint scanners (this isn't personal anyway didn't mean to throw shades

So it has a hole punch selfie camera cut out on the front and a good 6.8 inch LCD screen on the front.

The back is made of glass and I think I'll call this black part plastic . So glass and plastic. Some other variants have complete glass though but I love this finish. Either ways it hides fingerprints so I think it's all good whether total glass or glass and plastic

The Tecno Spark 10 pro's performance was beyond my expectations for real. It doesn't heat up except maybe you play cod for an extended period of time. Minimal lags just that the scrolling isn't as smooth as 120 hz panels are but at this price I don't think I can complain

I got the Tecno Spark 10 pro for about 140000 naira (about $140) which is a really decent price

I purposely skipped the cameras on the rear so I can talk about them specially. There's a triple camera setup made up of a 50mp main camera that takes very decent photos, a 2mp camera and an AI camera

The cameras do well in good lighting but struggle in low light
Selfies taken with the 32mp front facing camera are decent as well. I took a couple photos so you tell me in the comments how good you think the cameras are

Remember I said the display is an LCD panel and right? Let's talk about it. It's definitely not in par with flagships like Samsung and Apple devices but it's not bad at all especially at this price point. You'd definitely get a good experience playing games and also watching videos but remember that if you game a lot you shouldn't really expect too much from the 5000mah battery thats built inside of this thing.

Two things I definitely wanted to talk about. One that I love and one I don't. I like that tecno still gives us a wholesome unboxing experience as the smartphones still come with a charging brick, earphones and a transparent case. They even give you free data. What I don't like is the design of the phone. It's great but I always ask myself why tecno, infinix and itel are trying to copy the iPhones camera design. I think it's better they stick with the previous designs for uniqueness. Well what do I know 😂. Anyway I think copying is allowed in this game of life and smartphone companies are not an exception

If you have a budget of 140 us dollars or 140k naira the spark 10 pro is definitely one phone I'll highly recommend
