This 1930 Ford Model AA
This 1930 Ford Model AA has been with us for years. In this vid, the old truck needs to be moved so the battery is connected, fuel added, and we go for an engine start before moving it. I do run this up from time to time so I was confident that its four-cylinder flathead engine would fire up without too much aggravation, which proved to be the case.
The Model AA truck was based on the Model A car, albeit beefed-up in many departments - for example the axles and running gear are all larger than that found on the cars, and the trucks have a four-speed gearbox as opposed to the car's three-speeder. The truck cab is shared with the Model A pickup I think, which has led to a number of AAs being broken up to provide cabs for hot-rod A pickups, which is a shame.

I've been around older cars etc since the mid-1980s and love all this old stuff, so it doesn't look like I'll be cured any time soon.
