Parents & teachers, Emotional Regulation is part of executive function, and it's important because the better a child can regulate/manage emotions, the more they will be aware of what works and what doesn't work. This means that they will be able to process emotions rather than avoid and distract in unhealthy ways. This is a quality of life issue. Here are 8 tools that will help in this video.
