There are many game situations where you’ll need to get creative to score more goals. There will be lots of other times where you’ll need to be efficient near the goal area.
That said, there will be times when your back will be facing the net and you’ll be in position to receive a pass from your midfielder. If that happens, you’ll need to quickly take the ball and turn around to place yourself in a scoring position.
Basically, you want to make a turning motion as soon as you receive the ball, with only two touches if possible. If you make it in three touches, practice again so that you reduce that amount to only two touches.
Practicing this soccer drill will make you super effective around the goal area. And mastering this drill will certainly help you score more goals!
