One of the easy home baking items that are great for gifting is making madeleines.

Hojicha has a unique, nutty scent, so I often use it in baking.
I tried adding hojicha to the basic madeleine recipe.
Madeleines are easy to make, so I often give them as gifts to people around me.
In that case, rather than just giving a basic madeleine, I want to give it to you with chocolate coating to make it prettier.
The basic madeleine is delicious on its own, but today I'm going to add some cuteness to it :)

▶Ingredients

★Mold size 180

45g Eggs
55g Unsalted butter
7g Honey
45g Sugar
50g Cake flour
10g Almond powder
5g Hojicha powder
2g Baking powder
1g Vanilla extract
1g Salt

95g White compound chocolate
2g Hojicha powder





▶How to make

1. Mix eggs, honey, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt well.
2. Add melted butter and mix well.
3. Sift all types of powder and mix until no raw powder is visible.
4. Store the dough in step 3 in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
5. Put the refrigerated dough into a piping bag and fill the mold about 70%.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180℃ (356℉) for about 15 minutes.
7. Fill about 30% of the mold with melted chocolate, then place the madeleine into the mold and coat it with chocolate.
