This is How To make bacon wrapped onion rings on the Blackstone griddle. this was a great Blackstone griddle recipe and they came out perfect. I think next time I would try doing them without frying them first to compare but either way they would be great I’m sure. My family loves blackstone Griddle cooking and this might be the best thing I’ve made deep frying.
Cut your onions in slices about a quarter inch think
I used 1 slice of thick cut bacon (thin cut would probably work better)
I chose to fry them before I dipped them in the batter but you don’t have to
I used panko bread crumbs to bread them
Batter recipe
1 cup flour
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Stir together
Add cold water gradually while mixing until nice and smooth
