A new Talia Mar interview
A new Talia Mar interview as she releases her new single ‘Bored’ which is actually about a boring date she went on to Nandos (love!). Talia Mar joins my podcast Reign to share her funny perspective on getting married and her wedding with Simon Miniminter, and Talia Mar reacts to criticism about not singing about her husband. You might know Talia Mar from her many strings to her career bow, having started out as a beauty influencer, turned gaming influencer or rather, 'gamer girl' Talia went back to her first true love, music. What followed were the hits, ‘Stay the Night’ and ‘Sweet Lies’ and now she has dropped my song of the moment, ‘Bored’ which as she reveals in this podcast is set to be the first single from her much awaiting EP.
In today’s episode Talia takes us back to the beginnings of her musical journey which included uploading her own country music at just 13 year-old to YouTube including a song about her boyfriend going off to join the army (niche) and joining the Brits School which sounds like real life fame.
Talia and I also talk all about everything from her first job being the Karen of Chessington World of Adventures to her very funny take on getting married this year to her husband, Simon aka Miniminter who is one of the Sidemen with KSI.
Talia also talks about dealing with eye opening online hate which has seen her deal with everything from hateful comments to trending on a particular adult site with men doing their ‘business’ on her images and people even trying to stir up trouble in her relationship by leaving negative comments all over social media.
