Advancing Climate-Resilient Fisheries in UN Ocean Science Decade for Sustainable Development

On January 31st, we held a webinar featuring members of a dynamic research team dedicated to advancing Climate-Resilient Marine Fisheries during the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. This webinar marked the kickoff of a monthly series that highlighted projects from the Lenfest Ocean Program Climate-Resilient Fisheries Portfolio. The session delved into the urgent needs of fisheries worldwide to understand the impacts of climate change on their systems. In collaboration with marine fishery rights-holders and stakeholders globally, the Ocean Decade program, Fisheries Strategies for Changing Oceans and Resilient Ecosystems by 2030 (FishSCORE), is working to advance climate resilience, sustainability, and equity in marine fisheries.
