Pakistan 4 Mega Mass Transit Projects List:

1: Project for Rehabilitation and Upgradation of Karachi Circular Railway

Further Details:
The KCR route will start from the existing City station and run along the main line of Pakistan Railways up to Durg Road station. After this, KCR will enter Gulistan Johar and Gulshan Iqbal via Shahrah Faisal.
After that, KCR will pass through the old residential areas of Nazimabad and North Nazimabad and reach the site area and then Karachi Port after which it will return to Karachi City Station.

2: Greater Peshawar Region Mass Transit is a project under which major Railway projects have been set up in Peshawar, the biggest of which is ML One, the construction of which is going to start in March, Peshawar to Karachi Pakistan Railway Main Line.

The second mega project of Peshawar Railways mass transit is the construction of a railway line from Peshawar to Uzbekistan via Afghanistan.

The Pak-Afghan-Uzbek railway line will start from the northern city of Peshawar in Pakistan and will go through Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

The agreement was signed in July 2021 by former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and It took place in Tashkent between the Afghan government. And in March 2022, mutual agreements were signed on the Mazar-e-Sharif-Kabul Peshawar railway line project.

3: On the third Number Quetta mass transit project:
This project is Under the plan, Spezand Quetta A 48.5 km long modern mass transit train system will be constructed to Kuchlak.

Work on the design and feasibility reports of the project is in progress. Chinese companies have also visited the location. After all the steps are taken, the construction will start soon.

4: At the forth number is the project of Orange Line Lahore:

In 2014, under the CPEC, the construction of the Lahore Orange Line train was started in collaboration with China. While this project has been completed in 2022 at a cost of 1.55 billion dollars.
