Recipe:
Dhaba Style Fish Curry
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:
250g Fish (any firm fish)
1 Onion, finely chopped
2 Tomatoes, blended
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 Green chilli
½ tsp Cumin seeds
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp Garam masala powder
2 tsp Kasuri methi powder
3 tbsp Mustard Oil
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves

Method:
Apply turmeric along with some salt to the fish and set aside.
Heat oil in a large heavy bottom pan on medium heat. Fry the marinated fish till lightly coloured, flip and cook till golden on the other side as well.
Remove and set aside. In the same pan, add cumin seeds followed by onions, green chilli and cook until nearly golden.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry for another couple of minutes until golden brown.
Now add blended tomatoes along salt to taste and cook until oil starts separating. Add coriander powder, Kashmiri chilli powder and cook for a few more minutes. Add water now to adjust the consistency of the gravy.
Lastly add fish pieces to this masala and cook covered until fish is done on both sides. Add kasuri methi and garam masala. Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve.
