Welcome to the first installment of SCP Training Camp, a side series relating to and in the same timeline as SCP Foundation! Join Cory as he is trained by Doctor Patience in a laboratory full of SCP subjects. Ranging from Keter to Euclid, these subjects are some of the baddest, and sometimes funniest out there.
In the first episode, Doctor Patience teaches Cory a little something about science! Machine learning, more specifically. They encounter for the first time ever, SCP-914 ... aka The Clockworks and akaka the Upgrade Machine. Cory and Doctor patience give it a whirl and experiment with some pretty cool stuff they find on the base.
They start off with sticking some metallic pieces into the input and choosing between fine, very fine, coarse and rough. Or you can always go with a 1:1 if you're feeling daring. They next decide to try a live specimen. Cory is not eager to volunteer so they get a cute little sheep to put inside. He has lovely white fur. Alas, when he comes out of the upgrade machine his fur has turned to a disgusting orange color. But far worse than this, they put him in for another whirl...this time he comes out as...oh no...that's disgusting...YUCK!
As Cory and Doctor Patience go on, it becomes more and more apparent that they've learned nothing from the machine because they decide to put in a human specimen. Class D personnel to be precise. He doesn't change color, but does turn into a disgusting mutated mess and runs haywire in the laboratory. Oh boy, and taboot, Cory gets called down to the General's office for a discussion.
