On Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at 11 a.m., in the Media Gallery at Toronto Police Headquarters, Chief Mark Saunders presented a cheque for $413,539.69 to Victim Services Toronto.
The cheque represents proceeds of the Chief's Gala in support of Victim Services Toronto, held on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at the Beanfield Centre on the CNE Grounds, with over 1,000 guests. This is the largest amount ever raised in the ten-year history of the event.
