Costco will embarrass you if using your friend’s membership card & up fees to $65 in US and Canada

Costco is tightening its membership rules to prevent non-members from sneaking in with borrowed cards.

Shoppers now have to scan their membership card at the entrance, and photo IDs might be required for those with no-photo cards.

The company is serious about keeping perks exclusive to paying members, even upping the membership fee to $65 starting September 1.
