Monte Cristo Sandwich! (Made with
Monte Cristo Sandwich! (Made with Texas Toast)
In a bowl whip up 3 eggs and 1/4 cup whole milk.
Add a pinch of cinnamon. Dredge thick Texas Toast bread
in the mixture and pop it on a griddle or in a frying pan with
a little cooking oil.
Along side be heating up your sliced ham and turkey.
When you flip over the first piece of french toast put
a slice of Swiss cheese on it then immediately put your
hot ham and turkey on top then add a slice of Provolone
cheese, then place the second slice of french toast on
the very top with the uncooked side up.
Grill the sandwich for another minute or so then
flip it all over and grill it for another minute or two.
Cut in half and serve with fruit cocktail and raspberry
jam, and also mayo and mustard as dipping sauces.
