SOUTH AFRICAN ROCK ART - PART II

In the neighbourhood of Modderpoort, north of Ladybrand, South Africa, are various rock shelters with beautiful rock paintings made by the ancient San People. All those rock art sites are on private land and it is obligatory to get permission from the landowners well in advance in order to visit those sites.

Please keep in mind that those sites are sacred to the San people. Therefore, respect and protect rock art at all times and never touch or wet the rock paintings.
