There are blog posts on the internet claiming that all cotton yarns for dishcloths are mostly the same. Sure, they are typically all rough, 4-ply worsted weight yarns. But I would like to propose the hypothesis that they are not all the same, for the simple reason that the cotton from these yarns are not all sourced from the same place.
