Creating Drop-Downs with Tables and Named Ranges | Everyday Office 079

Making a Data Validation drop-down is very useful for guaranteeing the accuracy of your cells. Those drop-downs can be made dynamic (grow and shrink as the data changes) by a few different techniques, but most of them use volatile function - functions that constantly recalculate. That can significantly bog down larger spreadsheets, so the technique we're using today uses tables and named ranges together to make it happen without a volatile function. In this video tutorial by Neil Malek of Knack Training, we use the dynamic table reference with named ranges to make a data validation list.
