India will look to avenge World Cup 2019's defeat against New Zealand and secure its position in the ICC World Cup 2023 finals. But will victory be Team India's or will the Black Caps give the home team a run for their money?The stage is set as both the teams will be fighting for the spot in the finale, which will be played on Sunday in Ahmedabad. Team India remained unbeaten in the round-robin stage and finished as the table toppers. On the other hand, New Zealand lost four matches out of nine and ended at the fourth spot in the points table. It will be an interesting clash as both teams will be putting their foot forward.
The World Cup semifinal pitting India and New Zealand, features rivals with a recurring history of key ICC battles, be it the 2019 World Cup semifinal or the 2021 World Test Championship final.
