How to Coo Like a Dove

Would you like to coo like a dove? Whenever you want to make an animal sound, it helps to listen carefully to an animal making the sounds that you wish to make. You should listen carefully to a dove, either online or in person - sometimes even in your backyard. You may notice that the cooing sound seems soft and musical. You can make that soft, musical cooing sound with your mouth or your hands or sometimes both. Like other animal sounds, it takes practice and some playing around, especially when cupping your hands together and using the hollow space in your hands to make the sound. If you try that, make sure your hands are sealed from air coming in or going out except near your thumbs. Having my thumbs bent helps me in doing that, too. You don’t need to make the cooing sound exactly one way because having fun is the most important thing, and you can always have fun while you practice cooing like a dove. Other family members may like the soft cooing sound more than some of the other animal sounds, too.
