The key to balancing a Zhiyun Crane in under 60 seconds is to write down the hash marks on each of the motors after your properly balance it the first time. Then when you change lens or the weigh of the camera, you can quickly recall the proper balance settings. I keep these notes in my iPhone.
But first you need to learn how to balance the zhiyun crane without hashmarks, and the key to that is to find the center of gravity of the camera. Once you find the center of gravity, try to align it with the axis of each of the motors.
When the crane is properly balanced, the Zhiyun motors won't need to work very hard and you will be able to capture cinematic and smooth shots.”
