A celebration of the smaller members of the ELR fleet, the Small Engines returns after a 6 year break.

British Railways Class 03 D2062 is seen at Burrs with a shuttle to Ramsbottom. When not out on main line duties the diesel shunters were employed on shunter shuttles around Bury Station Limits, including fresh from the works Manchester Ship Canal Railway Husdwell Clarke 0-6-0 D4002 “Arundel Castle” joined by Class 08 08164 “Prudence” and 08479, Class 09, 09024 and Class 03 D2062.

Out on full line services over the weekend was British Railways Class 14 D9531 “Ernest”.
