Blizzard has made the controversial decision to cut funding for Starcraft 2 tournaments. They have also chosen to stop all development on Starcraft 2 and have announced the first community led patch: 5.0.11. With tournament prize pools reduced by 80% in Korea, GSL Super Tournament has been cancelled. Is there any hope left for the future of SC2? Pro players like Flash, Soulkey, Bisu, and even casters like Artosis and Tasteless have switched back to Broodwar already.
