This is the scene where the Chamberlain presents Kira to the General from The Dark Crystal, with the original Skesis language in place. Jim Henson originally wanted to have the Skeksis have their own language, loosely based off what ancient Greek and Egyptian would have sounded like to give it an ancient feel. The scenes would have had subtitles. Test audiences didn't like it, so they redubbed the scenes in English. I had seen some of the alternate language version scenes here on YT, but the workprint quality of them was terrible. As a little experiment to see how well I could match it, I took the sound from the alternate scenes and matched it up with the Blu-Ray footage, complete with the English subtitles to make bring it as close to home as Jim Henson's original vision. This scene, judging by the mouth movements, had very little adjustments done in the re-dub. It probably has to do with how dialogue-heavy the scene is, plus the fact that they switch to the "Gelfling language" i.e. English at a few points ("A live Gelfling.") when they talk to Kira, rendering the re-dub to be less substantial then with the Emperor's death. The only point where there's an additional line clearly added in is when the General commands the Chamberlain's clothes to be restored to him. In the workprint version, he merely glares at him, while in the re-dub, they added in an extra shot where he's talking.
