The fear of getting "political" holds us back from influencing the decision-makers who most need to hear from subject matter experts who do sheltering and rescue work.Get the building blocks you need to build political capital, establish credibility, form a coalition, and engage with your community. When advocates come together to pass progressive legislation and elect candidates who care about protecting animals, we can be more effective lifesavers.
