When Randy and I were editing our last Cache video; we realized that there were a few things we wanted to cover, but we had forgotten. Rather than scrapping the whole video and refilming it, we decided to release and and film additional videos to cover the other parts. It was already a long video with lots to good information. If you haven't seen it, I encourage you to do so, and you can find it in our video archive.
This video, I wanted to talk about short-term caches, and Randy wanted to talk about one of his favorite methods for finding & recovering his caches. So, we combined them into a decent educational video.
Notes:
Short-Term: you still have to bury, just not as deep
Always water-proof your stuff
Randy shows a method to use rope with knots and a azimuth to find your spot. Modify this and make it your own. This is not how we finalize it.
