Chicago Fire Department Squad 5 Response

Squad 5 is a two-vehicle response unit (1) heavy rescue/multi-utility truck and (2) a snorkel truck that runs out of Engine 116 firehouse where Ambulance 49 is also quartered. The video is a mix of two responses -- one to a garage fire and the other to a report of a man in trouble in the water in Lake Michigan. Not all video segments are in order. The views out the front are to the water rescue. Quick interior view shows firefighter getting prepared by changing into water rescue gear. Most of the views out the back are during the response to the garage fire -- both calls on Saturday, July 9, 2011.
