Waffles are a classic treat that make for the perfect start to your day. In this video, Kara, Product Expert for Williams-Sonoma shows us how to make crisp, golden waffles using this wonderful Calphalon Waffle Maker.
Kara begins by plugging in the device. As soon as it is plugged in, the orange power light comes on. You can use the device once the light goes green on the ready button. When the ready light is on, Kara pours the waffle batter near the center of the device. The waffle iron is titled slightly downward for the batter to fill all the crevices for smooth, consistent waffles. She uses the Bellegem Waffle Mix from Williams-Sonoma to make the waffle batter in this video. After the entire batter is poured into the waffle maker, she closes the lid and allows it to cook completely. You'll know when the waffles are ready once the ready light turns on. She removes the waffles and transfers it on to a flat plate.
The Calphalon Waffle Maker is a great kitchen device since it features the Calphalon bronze non-stick finish. This means that you need not use butter to the waffle maker since it can easily release the waffle. Cleaning up this device is very simple. Just let it cool down, wipe it with a damp cloth and its ready for use!
