- Made by http://www.acousticfields.com The QDA stands for quadratic diffuser absorber. On the surface is a quadratic diffuser consisted of  troughs which are at predetermined depths to correspond to a frequency range starting around 350 Hz. - 3,300 Hz. This is the precious mid range frequency area where all of our emotional connection to music lies. Directly behind the first trough or well on both sides of the diffuser is our charcoal based, broadband, low frequency absorber the ACDA-10 (30 Hz.- 200 Hz.). In the bottom cabinet section of the unit is our ACDA -12 (30 Hz. - 50 Hz.), carbon absorber. So, what do we have with this product? We have the most time tested and proven way to diffuse or spread out sound out through those precious middle ranges of emotion. That by itself is enough, but with the addition of carbon technology to the unit, we have the most powerful diffusion and the most powerful, low frequency, absorption technology, all in one unit.
