Treasure Island, also known as simply "TI" is a pirate-themed resort, hotel, and casino located on the west side of the Strip in Las Vegas. The hotel has over 2,000 rooms.

The original intent of Treasure Island was going to be a massive 3,000-room addition to the newly opened Mirage.

The hotel opened on October 27, 1993. During it's early years, Treasure Island was much more heavily themed than it is now. The original marquee included a massive skull, swords representing the crossbones, and a ship-like bottom.

In 1996, Cirque Du Soleil introduced Mystere for the first time ever in Treasure Island's Cirque Du Soleil Showroom.

Later in 2000, MGM Grand Inc. bought the hotel for over $4 billion.

In 2003, Treasure Island abandoned almost all of it's pirate theme for a more adult look. The Pirates of Buccaneer Bay was replaced to Sirens of TI, a more adult-themed pirate show.

On December 15, 2008, MGM Mirage announced the resort would be sold for US$775 million to Phil Ruffin.

On October 20, 2013, the Sirens of TI show was closed. A Senor Frog's opened and replaced much of the Sirens of TI's background buildings.

In July 2019, it was announced that Treasure Island's hotel would join Radisson Hotel Group later in the year.

Treasure Island has a heated pool,  a 25-person hot tub, accompanied by live DJ music. The pool feels lively with a college Spring break vibe.
