The battle for control of Vukovar, Croatia

Vukovar was surrounded on three sides, only a small corridor allowed relief Croation Army reinforcements in and a meagre supply of United Nations basic foodstuffs and a limit of 5 litres of bottled water a day. People in the "World" moan about interest rates and lack of parking, it all just seems so trivial after the 2 months I stayed in Vukovar and lived like a refugee, in cellars and sewage pipes. Ce la vie nes pas?
