Linux Ubuntu is a very popular free & open source operating system. Installing MySQL server on Ubuntu Linux is pretty straightforward. This MySQL installation tutorial will teach you the step-by-step method to install MySQL database. In my case I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Long Term Support).
