This unique kayak rack system alllows boats to be loaded at chest level at the side of a vehicle. Its hydraulic lift system lifts up to 40lbs of the kayak's weight, allowing for easy one person loading. After loading and strapping the boat at chest level, simply engage the release handles and guide the boat up to the roof. The Hullavator and Hullavator Pro include heavy duty tie-down straps with rubber buckle protectors to strap the boat into the carrier. Thule QuickDraw ratcheting bow and stern tie-down ropes are also included to secure the front and back of the kayak to your vehicle's tow loops. The new 898 Hullavator Pro carries boats up to 36" wide, and fits with Thule AeroBlade bars.
