Why has Nobody Compared These Two Cocktails?

Today I'm mixing up two very similar drinks, the Adonis and the Bamboo Cocktail! I don't know why nobody has compared these two cocktails on YouTube before. They're both classic, sherry-based cocktails created around the same time on opposite sides of the world - which fascinates me. Was one based off of the other? Was the whole world just infatuated with sherry at the time? Anyway, I'm going to solve this comparison issue and see how similar (or different) these two really are. Cheers!
