Drum Solo On Best Drums Ludwig Ever Made

This is my 1969 Ludwig Super Classic Drum Set which is the best drums Ludwig ever made. It has to do with the great shells Ludwig were making back then in the Ludwig Chicago factory. The Ludwig shells in 1969 had the 3 ply maple, poplar, maple with the all maple rings. Inside of shell had the clear lacquer finish on them. Bill Ludwig Jr said those were the best shells that Ludwig ever made. The sound out of these Ludwig 1969 drums are just amazing. I`m playing on a 14x22 inch bass drum, 9x13 inch tom, 16x16 inch floor tom, and the great Ludwig Supra-Phonic 400 5x14 inch snare drum. I love the crisp and full sound out of this snare drum. This is the same set-up as the great Joe Morello used when he played Ludwig drums. So many great drummers used these 60`s Ludwig drums like John Bonham, Ringo Starr, Ginger Baker, Carmine Appice, Ed Thigpen, Roy Haynes and Jo Jones. In this drum solo, I`m using a lot of the drum technique I have learned to bring out the great sound out of these 1969 Ludwig Classic drums. Just a 4 piece drum set with a big open sound that is so clear and projects so well with the technique that I have. To me, these 60`s Ludwig drums were the best ever made.
