Nick D'Virgilio - Big Big Train's "Oblivion" (Talk & Play-Through)

Back on December 8th the first single "Oblivion" from the upcoming Big Big Train record "The Likes Of Us" was released along with a video. It is an exciting time for Big Big Train. It is the first record with our new frontman Alberto Bravin and it is always exciting to bring new music into the world. We are very proud of this new record.

This song is a blast to play drums on and I thought it would be fun to take you through the song and show you the different drum parts. I don't go into great detail but I do go through each section of the tune, explaining how the parts were developed and show you how they are played. Then after that, I play through the whole song.

The full record will be released on March 1, 2024, on Inside Out Music and we will also be playing live hopefully in a town near you.
