West’s simmering tensions with Moscow has prompted Germany to develop an emergency plan amid fear of an unprecedented war with Russia. Berlin is planning to move "hundreds of thousands" of NATO troops across Germany, likely in “preparation” for a possible war with Russia. Berlin is preparing to move some 800,000 NATO troops and 200,000 vehicles across its territory in the event of a war with Russia, as per Der Spiegel report. France dismissed Russia's "false information" that Paris is preparing a 2,000-strong military contingent for deployment inside Ukraine. New NATO members, Finland and Sweden, scrambled their fighter jets to intercept Russian aircraft over the Baltic Sea on July 15. Meanwhile, The Russian foreign minister said Moscow will not chase anyone but is willing to engage in dialogue when leaders in the West “wise up”.
