Big Block Mopar Teardown! 499 Stroker Build Begins, starting with an old gross 400CI Smog Motor!

It's time for another motor
It's time for another motor build and we're headed back into the Mopar world, this time finishing off the teardown of the 1973 400 Big Block Mopar that came in 73ChargerChic's Dodge Charger. From what we could tell after pulling the heads and intake, this seems to be a pretty stock unit and prime for a brand new build!
Many people don't give the love and respect they should to the Mopar B Series engine platform. The 383 Big Block Mopar and the later generation 400 Big Block Mopar have all kinds of potential for upgrades, unfortunately they are usually overshadowed by the 440 RB Series or the legendary Hemi monsters of the era. One of the GOOD parts about that though? You can pick these things up for CHEAP and they make for an excellent stroker platform due to their tall deck!
So here we go, time to tear down this old tire Big Block Chrysler and remove all those smog era guts to make room for a whole new groove. We're going big stroker kit baby! Oh, and you might ask what it's going in? Well... you'll just have to wait to find out!
