dear friend,
how are you doing lately? my life has been a bit melancholy but with little moments of happiness.
i started school again in january and have been trying to mainly focus on that aspect of my life. if you remember from the end of last year, i talked about how much i was struggling in college mentally. i was really lucky to have winter break so i could just breathe and honestly think about things. one of them is my youtube channel.
i miss creating content, i truly do and im sorry that ive been so infrequent with my upload schedule since the beginning of last year. there are some days where i look at the progress made in editing/storytelling and im so proud of where ive come from but there are days where i am honestly so hard on myself (luckily that doesn't happen as much anymore). id like to put time into my channel this year and just have fun with the content i make. the last four videos i made on this channel made me realize that maybe...... just maybe i can actually do this (youtube/content creation in general). i still hold onto that feeling of inspiration and im trying to not let it go this time.
im sitting in my university's coffee shop, the lights are dim and warm-hued but pleasant, the soft sounds of the baristas making drinks and the aroma of espresso fill the air. i had an okay day, it was very cold and dark outside, but some highlights were actually making three friends at school. (●´ω｀●) ( first ones ive made so its made me smile a little bit).
there is this little quote from cloud strife in kingdom hearts one that is a little cheesy but i like to think about if im feeling down, "your light? never lose sight of it".
