Haiti is facing a new wave of uncertainty following the assassination of the president on July 7. Even before the latest political turmoil, people have been facing increasing violence across the capital Port-au-Prince and beyond. Clashes between armed groups, robberies, and kidnappings are becoming part of daily life.
