From the suburbs of Cologne to the dingey nightclubs of Manhattan and the islands of Ibiza, singer-songwriter Nico has a story that is unlike any other musician. This is the story of how the German model-turned-singer-songwriter rose to fame in Andy Warhol's Factory entourage, sang for the Velvet Underground in 1967, and fought to destroy and rebuild her image and sound in the latter half of her career.
