Dr. Nick's 108th TMD case study:  In this video, our L.A. patient discusses her experiences over the years trying to solve her TMD issues.  What she ran into, the options she was given, and most importantly, and the fact that no other practitioner ever gave her the option of imaging her TMJ's before treatment.  She offers advise to those seeking answers in regards to their TMD issues.  VERY enlightening!  One of Dr. Nick's best videos for sure!

Her story:
Our patient returns to see Dr. Nick from Los Angeles 26 months after having DTR done for her.  Several months ago, one of her composite (white filling) bondings used to effect her DTR therapy failed, and her TMD problems returned with a vengeance.  After undergoing DTR therapy once again to repair her immediate complete anterior guidance development (repair her canine), she elected to exactly replicate her canine bonding with a CADCAM generated porcelain veneer that was created in one appointment by her for her to help ensure a longer lasting fix.  She loves us, but she doesn't want to have to travel half a country away to see us every 2 years!  This porcelain replica should last her for a very long time, whereas weaker bonded composites (like what she originally had placed), are more prone to failure over passing time.
