Toroslarda Son Yörükler: Göçebe Yaşam - Belgesel

We’re visiting one of the last families which maintains the nomadic life in Anatolian region. They spend their lives by migrating seasonally between the determined leas and accomodation places and they raise goats for living. Products like milk, meat, cheese, manure and wool which they produced from goats are highly demanded in the region. They stay in the coastal region in winter and their children go to school in the meantime. This place is like a school for the children because they have a chance to link with animals, plants and the soil. Observing their elders and helping them also reflects on their games.  

In this documentary, you’ll witness how the nomads live nowadays and listen what kind of difficulties they have to face. Later on you’ll feel like as if you’re there in their haircloth tent having dinner with them.
