The Planet Project is back! In this journey, we will travel the long road to Ushguli, a village in Georgia’s Svaneti region known for being one of the highest and most isolated on the continent, on a search for the last speakers of the millennia-old Svan language, a local tongue distantly related to Georgian, but separated by centuries of isolation. Join me on a journey to a region of the world where the wheel and airplane were only introduced in 1935, a village high up in the mountains of a magical land.
