Mr. Robot season 1 episode 4 finds Elliot facing a major problem because of his morphine addiction. By turning in Shayla's boss and supplier Vera Elliot has no connection and is forced to go through withdrawal. At the same time Fsociety learns they have to put their Steel Mountain plan into action right away or they will lose their chance to hit Evil Corp's data backup.
In Mr Robot s1 e4 we learn more about the individual members of Fsociety. Romero, Mobley, Darlene, and Trenton play a larger role as the group fall in line with Elliot's new plan. We also get some insight into the Dark Army who are essential to the plan to hit Evil Corp.
Elliot Allderson has a dream sequence in season 1's fourth episode that builds up the mystery around the Mr Robot series. We get bits of information about Elliot's childhood, his relationship with Angela, and about his monster and the key to getting past it. We also see his childhood friend Angela place the infected disk into the drive at All Safe giving the Dark Army access to their network.
