A Voluntary Dipterocarp Seed Project: Meet TRCRC

A major seed masting season is currently taking place in South East Asia among the Dipterocarp trees. Once the seeds are mature it will be carried by the wind, and it will be raining helicopter seeds in our rainforests! We are looking for a dedicated team of volunteers to join us for the purpose of collecting thousands of Dipterocarp seeds in the subsequent months. We need teams to help to locate, tag and monitor the trees, join in on seed collection expeditions and help with seed processing post-collection.
